Healthy Vaginal Discharge
Healthy vaginal discharge is odor free, when a penile wart virus or urethritis is present it is usually unpleasant smelling and thick.
Women usually produce more mucus around the middle of their menstrual cycle; it happens a couple of weeks after a period. During pregnancy there is often an increase in mucus, and sometimes it becomes quite thick. Sexual excitement and stress influence much the amount of the secretion.
