Dark Vaginal Discharge
Dark vaginal discharge is abnormal, especially ocurring after a cone biopsy treatment from ASCUS.
In non-pregnant women, a change in the flow from white to almost black may be due to ovary dysfunctions. This condition makes the flow stay in the vagina for too long exposing it to oxidation and consequently to color changes.

Dark Vaginal Discharge -
Cone Biopsy, ASCUS
This condition may occur in pregnant women as the blastocyst implants into the uterus. Spotting is common during the first trimester of the pregnancy, yet may also be indicative of a miscarriage since the symptoms are much the same. Heavy clot-like flows suggest a natural abortion. Dark vaginal discharge is abnormal, especially ocurring after a cone biopsy treatment from ASCUS.
