Lichen Sclerosis Atrophicus
Lichen sclerosis atrophicus is a genital skin condition like genital wart HPV viruses, but is not contagious.
Treatments often include non-prescriptive methods with ingredients such as beta glucans, flax seed oil, omega vitamins, aloe vera (gel/pills). Post-menopausal women are the most common sufferers of LS. This condition is not contagious. The most common misdiagnosis for LS is a yeast infection.

The exact cause of the disease is unknown. Corticosteroids and testosterone may be used as treatment. Sometimes, surgery is needed. Referred to as LSA, this chronic disease occurs in women aged 40 to 60, yet cases in men and younger women have also been registered.
