Lichen Sclerosis Atrophicus
Lichen sclerosis atrophicus can happen after treating Cervical Cancer with a leep procedure.
Referred to as LSA, this chronic disease occurs in women aged 40 to 60, yet cases in men and younger women have also been registered. Sometimes, surgery is needed. Corticosteroids and testosterone may be used as treatment. The exact cause of the disease is unknown.

The most common misdiagnosis for LS is a yeast infection. This condition is not contagious. Post-menopausal women are the most common sufferers of LS.
